Solved! Gmail account password lost

I have forgotten my gmail password but the account is open on my tablet and I can read the emails.I am trying to access the account on my laptop.I need to find the month and year I set up the account but am lost on how to do so.I have a second gmail address that is working fine.Ihave lost my phone and need to find my contacts list.Any help would be appreciated! ps it is a Samsung tab 3 tablet.
