I recently bought a Lenovo Y50. The person who sold it to me said that it was the best gaming laptop at that price range. But the one I bought was DOA. Now I'm getting it replaced through lenovo customer service. (I read a few reviews on their customer service on this site which scared me a lot but it seems everything is fine, hopefully).
Now I'm looking to buy a new laptop around that price range. Honestly, I'd like to go for the Lenovo y50 again but I just can't bear with all the shit i went through. Are there any other gaming laptops around the same price range?
( I was thinking about the ASUS ROG GL551JW-DS71 but read reviews on their customer service lol)

Thanks. <3

I would recomend a desktop because for the price you can get 1080p 50-60fps gaming.
With the laptop expect 40-50 on med to high

if you want to build a desktop here is one...

Thank you for your reply!
Unfortunately, I have 0 knowledge on how to build a laptop and why certain parts are better than the others. Adding to that, the shipping cost to India can easily be $150-200 more so I wouldn't want to build my own. :/
I don't want to opt for a desktop as I'm leaving for college soon and would have to carry my laptop to college and back home almost everyday. Also, most good alternatives to y50 arent available in india. I have my sight set on Acer Aspire V17 Nitro
(http://www.newegg.com/global/in/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6V62SS5634&cm_re=acer_aspire_v_nitro-_-9SIA6V62SS5634-_-Product).
Would this be a good alternative or should I put faith into the y50?
