Good laptop for gaming and school???

Hello! I know you guys get questions like this all the time, but I'd really appreciate all the help I could get. Now I'm on a budget of 700-800 dollars and need a good laptop. I game a lot and also need it for school work. I found one that has caught my eye.

Would this be good for running newer games at least on low or medium quality? If not I would love some suggestions from you guys. Thank you!

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

Laptop is perfect for some games like Dota and those similars, maybe BF4 or Crysis but a low settings. For school is more that enough.

Remember get an USB mouse, play or work with that touchpad would be very difficult with some time.

Well, in that range the options are a little limited.

The ASUS N56JN-EB71 is a solid option too and meets your budget requirements.

That Is a very good choice to fit your needs, A Lenovo Y40 would work great too. Sometimes it's even on sale for around $650.
