Good Laptop that has a Decent Battery

I'm looking to purchase a new laptop before traveling abroad. I need something that has a good battery (6 hrs + advertised hours), can play some games with a decent framerate (i.e. Red Alert 3 on High), while also being cost effective (below $900).

I completely disagree with this person's review but the model number and basic specs are to which I am referring.

I got it for about $500 from Staples almost two years ago, it played RA3 on low without any stuttering and still gets me about 6 hours of battery life while just surfing the web and playing music. Something fell on the laptop while it was open and the hinge got bent. So something similar but better for about the same price would be great.
