I found out that Google Fiber doesn't use cable cards like standard subscription cable services do. So can anyone with Google Fiber, or who has some experience with it, tell me if there is yet some interface for not using Google's set top box and plugging in directly through your HTPC like a TV Tuner Card? Thank you!

Google Fiber seems to offer all shows via "on demand", sort of like Netflix or Hulu. That being the case, any connected PC, smart phone, tablet, etc can stream content on your network. That should mean that a tuner is not needed in a HTPC, rather just a network connection.
