Google images layout changed

I have been using Google Chrome for a couple of years now, recently I built a new PC with WIndows 10 Pro as the OS. After installing google chrome, I noticed that the layout of the Google images site on how it displays it image has completely changed.

I highly doubt that its a malware or some other kind of virus, as i have already ran multiple scans on my computer and found none.

Google Images loads completely fine on Firefox, but the issue is same with Microsoft Edge.

Its to also note that whenever i search anything on google search bar its takes a couple of seconds for the contents to show up even though the site has completed loaded in the background.

If possible I would like to revert back to the current layout that is being displayed as I think the one I'm viewing is an old legacy version of google images.

Yea, the problem persisted when i had my google account logged in. I tried reinstalling,
logging in and out but still no luck.

I've exactly the same problem and don't know how to change it !

The results are horrible, not a pleasure anymore to search images..
