what i want to see is a block per search option. some sites are good for tech, some sites are good for games. if im searching tech, i would block the game ones, if i want games i block the tech ones.

there should be 2 versions of google for this. one with this enabled, one without as in everyones block effects one search result, while one doesn't care about what people block. because if im looking up porn, i dont want results blocked because other people didnt like them

[citation][nom]supertrek32[/nom]You can already block sites on a search-by-search basis. Just add "-site:badwebsite.com" (no quotes) to the end of your search.[/citation]

This seems to be a permanent block though, to add to an account or cookie.

I like this.

Why even post this? Do you think it makes you cool that you know this? This isn't a practical solution at all. What do you do when there are like 10+ fake sites that return results for things that you search for? type them all in separately every time you search? Think.

I don't know how, but there has to be a way to do further limiting. Too often, I would search for something and nothing but useless junk comes up.

One other thing that would be cool, is if there would be a way to search forums or search for websites or blogs, or any other types of sites.

Now I'll block all porn sites.

But then... I'll get frustrated that I cannot find any porn...

...and I'll unblock them again...

Damn!

The following step is to gather all data about "bad sites" and ban thsm permanently from the search engine, which is a real good excuse for censorship. Of course we're expecting "users" to ban wikileaks mirrors early, among many other sites with political content.

Pot, Kettle, Black......hmmmm!

And this has been available as an extension for chrome for a while now, very handy so far, and now available for all to use, excellent work.

Expert sex change would probably be at the top of most people's block list.
