Google should have an online form, in which you fill to opt out your personal information from autocomplete or perhaps anything from the search results.

[citation][nom]eiskrystal[/nom]Japanese businesses need to get their act together if they are firing employees for crimes not committed based on a dodgy websearch. Otherwise they will simply be sued into administration. Which is what this guy should have done as well.[/citation]

Many businesses, including ones the US do the same blunder. Act twice, check none.

That is an intersting story but what I took from it most of all was what a petty, idiotic employment system they must have in Japan if some false google autocomplete results can be used to dismiss an employee and also I have the unanswered question ~ why did the unnamed person not sue the ass off their employer rather than take google to court?!?!

Can you imagine someone letting their employer do that to them in a western country, erm, no!

I just wish I was popular enough to have a showing on Google autocomplete 🙁
