GPU doesn't seem to be functioning properly.

Ok... this might sound dumb, but my computer(mostly cpu) is suddenly way cooler than than it usually is. Usually, my laptop,(which is a predator 15), will get up into the 90s when gaming, on something like GTA. Now, all of the sudden, it’s only reach the mid 40s, but my frame rates are also a lot lower... what is causing this?

Edit: it is using the gtx 1070, and not the onboard graphics. Wanted to clarify

usually its about 96 degrees, and now its dropped down, to about 45 degrees.
