Solved! Graphics card upgrade for gateway fx 7805u

I have the gateway fx 7805u laptop and was wondering if I can upgrade the video graphics card Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS to a more recent version to accommodate the newer pc games requiring more video power. If so, what do you recommend?

Probably not. You might be able to move up to the 9800 GTX but that would be a waste of time, effort and money IMO.

You'd be better off selling the Gateway for what ever you can and getting a more powerful replacement.
