Graphics Settings Problem

I have a brand new MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 4k-605 with Nvidia 970m Graphics card and all the other bells and whistles that go along with it. For some reason I cant run GTA V at any quality above normal...all I keep seeing is how this laptop specifically can run this game at very high/ultra settings but for some reason it keeps crashing on me. Please help?

Since it's a brand-new machine, have you downloaded the latest drivers from GeForce? They released some updates specifically aimed at resolving issues with GTA V a few months ago.

if the application hangs, you will either need to keep your charger plugged into the laptop and enable high performance or do a factory restore.
I do not know why application hangs but this should fix your problem
