Great Headphones for 50 or under?

So I finally decided to upgrade my headphones. As of right now I've used a TekNmotin headset that was 20 bucks and it produced nice sound.

But I now want something a little more high quality. Looking for something 50 bucks or less.
So far I've come down to two choices and don't really know which one to choose, the JVC HA-RX700 and the Audio-Tenchnica ATH-M30. Both seem really nice, and I'm going to be using them for mostly gaming/music(acoustic/dub-step/classical/rock and metal). So opinions on either or do you have another suggestion that is better than these two and is sub 50?

I don't know either one but I would choose the Audio Technica just because this is something they specifically design for sound rather than package as a product. If you could go a little higher the Grado SR60 are excellent.
