GS70 overheating GPU

hey guys, i need some help. my GS70 gpu has started overheating very quickly causing FPS drops when i game. this started happening after i got my laptop back from guarantee cuz the keyboard was broken. They laptop works fine at the beggining in most games but after an hour or less the FPS drastically drop making the games i used to play at max settings lowered to avoid low fps. Any thoughts of what it could be?

Hi,

I would suggest checking the fans inside the laptop, them them all and apply new thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. Make sure there's no dust accumulated in the cooling fins that should be responsible in cooling the CPU and GPU.

Thanks, i opened the laptop a few hours ago to clean the fans, however i cant re apply thermal paste because i dont feel confident enough sinse the laptop design is quite hard to disassemble. I will ask an expert to do it for me.
