Hi all,
I'm really hoping there is a setting somewhere I'm missing, here goes...
Acer Aspire V7-582PG
Nvidia GT750M
Due to ongoing graphics card issues under Win8.1, I did a completely fresh install of Win10 today (twice) however, the problem remains.
The problem:
With power adapter plugged in, when Nvidia control panel is started, no 3D graphics are shown and the system reports the driver (353.54) has stopped responding and has recovered.
With laptop on battery, Nvidia control panel performs as expected, no 3D graphics errors reported whatsoever and the Nvidia logo displays and spins as expected..
1. The laptop charger is correct type and rating (19V @ 4.74A).
2. The Nvidia driver installed is not the latest but is the one detailed on the Acer website. I tried upgrading and had the same issues, then did another fresh Win10 install.
3. Tweaked power plan settings for min and max CPU to 5 and 20% respectively.
Is there a power setting somewhere I need to tweak?
Many thanks for any help.
Andy
