Gtx 960m vs Gtx 1050

I am confused between these two laptops.

6300HQ i5 - 2.3 GHz with Turbo Boost Upto 3.2 GHz
Gtx 960M 4gb ddr5
8 GB ddr3 ram 1600 MHz

2- Asus FX553VD
intel® CoreTM i7-7700HQ 2.8 GHz (6M Cache, up to 3.8 GHz)
8GB DDR4 2400 Mhz
2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (N17P-G0) GDDR5

i want gaming laptop which can also do 1080p video editing.
Games i play - gta5 , cod , battlefield, witcher ,fifa

is there any benefit of gtx 960m extra vram ?

which would be better for long run in terms of playing games at medium to high settings ?

The Asus FX553VD is better in all aspects of your listed specs: CPU, RAM, and GPU.
