GTX980m 8gb upgrade to GTX1070? Gaming Laptop is it worth it?

I have a Sager NP8278-S Gaming Laptop and here is the
Laptop Specs:
- 17.3" Color Gamut 1080 Display
- GTX 980m 8GB GDDR5 Video Card / Intel HD 4600
- i7-4710MQ CPU 2.50GHz Haswell (6M Cache, up to 3.50GHz)
- 128GB MSATA SSD + 1TB HDD 7200 RPM + 1TB HDD 5400 RPM
- Samsung 8gb DDR3 RAM PC3-12800 (800MHz)
- IC Diamond thermal compound
- Windows 10 Pro

Bought P91k Brandnew almost P97k because of the upgrade in Philippine Currency it`s only 1 year and half since i get this laptop

planning to upgrade to
Sager NP8173
6th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ Processor
17.3" Full HD IPS Matte Display with G-SYNC Technology
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5
8GB DDR4 at 2400MHz

is it worthy?
I`m not that kind of guy that swims on money... I`m planning to sell my laptop in lower price like P75k and i will just add P10k?

or i just upgrade my RAM and Hard Disk?
And buy a 27 inch led ips gaming monitor

Not really no, the gains maybe 5-10 fps tops. Wait2-3 years. As well 980 will last year's at 1080p

This is not correct at all. GTX1070 is a lot faster than 980M, almost twice as fast in some cases.

This will depend on how much your gaming needs are. The 980m is a good gpu and if you don't need the upgrade, I would keep it. On the other hand, if the 980m is struggling with your gaming needs the the 1070 is worth the upgrade.

I would say your fine because 980m doesn't have a game it cannot run at ultra. Yet, it's basically a 1060 which if the 980m was useless so would the 1060. nvidia 1050 is a 960m, 1050ti is 970m 1060 is 980m, 1070 is like a titan but for 1440p. And 1080 is for 4k.
