Hey there guys!
I own a Haier 55' 120hz LED TV
Model #LE55B1381
The backlight has started to randomly go out. The sound is perfectly intact and all I have to do to revive the picture is turn the tv off and back on but when it will go out, I don't know. The longest it lasts is about a hour.
I opened the casing and couldn't see anything that was wrong (mind you, I'm no repairman.). No burned out capacitors or loose cables anywhere to be found. From my readings and scouring of YouTube I believe it to be the LED driver...
Once again I am no repairman...I got the tv manufacturer refurbished at a steal and don't wanna spend half of what I paid on it in repairs.
I've been looking at the parts on http
/www.encompassparts.com/model/HAILE55B1381/_/_/Haier/LE55B1381/55%22_LED_HDTV but I can't seem to determine what exactly I need.
I appreciate any help that anyone can provide! Thanks in advance!
EDIT: It may also be worth mentioning that the HDMI 2 port has never worked.
