Hard choice based on cpu

I am looking for a laptop for school and light to medium gaming on the side, i have two in mind just can't figure out what to go with I assume more cores is better but reviews tell me thats wrong anyone care to state the better?

Thats what I was leaning towards but some reviews said the performance of the intel made it aout the same

HD 8610G is approx. 15% faster than Intel HD4400

Well you need to consider that Sony is getting out of computers and that COULD affect support.
