Hard drive for your sony vaio-pcg-frv26

Can my sony vaio pcg-frv26 read a 250 hard drive?
I've tried a new one and it only detects 130 some GB . can I do any thaing to make it read the 250?

have you checked if there is a BIOS firmware upgrade?

otherwise 120gb is the most the unit can handle
