So I got a HP DV6-4507ca, Ive fixed over 100 laptops so Im kinda experienced. LAptop does not recognize the hdd and gives the "Boot Device Not Found .Hard Disk (3F0)"

-Hard drive is functional for fact ( works on other laptops)
-Hdd connector is well inserted
-Tried a different hdd connector from a working laptop
-Set bios back to default
-Tried Windows Install from USB boot ( hdd still not recognized)
-Tried different HDD

I cant think of any other solutions or why it would not recognize the hdd. Thank you

Shot in the dark -
Chances are you have to re-install Windows on it.
Prepare the SATA driver for that laptop in a USB thumb-drive.
Get a Windows install CD or USB (presuming you are on Windows; I'm not familiar with Linux) and at the stage of the install where you have to select the drive to install to and load its driver, point to the SATA driver. Hopefully, after this the drive will be recognized for Windows to be able to install to.

Did you check that the HDD in question is seen in BIOS?
Is the HDD in question a 4K (not 512K ) drive?
NOTE: Many drives can NOT be used in BIOS based PCs but in UEFI based PCs ONLY (4K Drives for example)
