Hard drive replacement... will recovery discs recover the recovery partition?

Toshiba c875-s7205 Hard drive is shot. I have another computer that is exactly the same model.

Can I create the recovery discs from the other computer, replace the hard drive of the dead one, and re-install the OS using those discs?

Also, if the first question's answer is yes... Will the discs also partition the new drive to include the recovery partition?
