Hard drive stuck in bay

I have an HP pavilion 17 notebook.
I removed the screws that hold the drive in.
It's the kind that lifts up instead of sliding to the left. It won't move. I'm afraid to use to much force.

I know what's in the manual, but it doesnt address my problem.

Its supposed to lift out easily by pulling on the plastic tab.
Whoops, key word is supposed to. No luck!
