having a hard time choosing

hi this is my second thread but with a lower budget lol

just wanted to get some help choosing over these two

like im more of a gamer and looking into learning web design and making flash games.

what are the differences between the two

If you read the specs side by side, the differences are fairly easy to spot... the Toshiba has lower specs (half the RAM, 250GB less HDD space) and uses a slower Ultra-low-power i5 so it should have better battery life than the HP which uses a faster standard-power i5.

So between those two, I would pick the HP for the faster CPU, extra RAM and extra HDD space if they are priced the same since battery life does not matter (much) to me beyond built-in UPS status.

i did but i checked the benchmarks of the cards and found out that the gt740m is superior to the intel hd 4000 correct me if im wrong thou.

just wanted to know how different the cards would be

If you are 100% certain that gaming will be your primary use then yes, the gt might be enough to tilt the balance in the Toshiba's favor.
