I've been having this issue lately, in which every time i wake up the computer from sleep mode and try to connect to my wireless router it only gives me local access. I never had this issue before. However now its gotten worst, it happens every time i turn the computer on, it only gives me local access but not internet access.
What i have to do is turn off the router and turn it back on. After i do that i get internet access on my laptop.
Not sure what the issue is here, but my other computer connects perfectly, and my roommate does not have this issue with his laptop. Like i said this never happed before and its been happening for the past few months now.
My computer is an HP Pavilion Dv2000 running windows vista 32 and my router is a D-Link DIR 615.
I've tried upgrading the computers hardware, and it does nothing, so i'm not sure what else it could be.
