HD 449 or 439 for Gaming?

Hey guys I'm looking for a good headset that's around $50 that I can both use for listening to music but primarily gaming. So far I've narrowed it down to the Sennheiser HD 449 and the HD 439 and I'm wondering if any of you have any preferences for one over the other. I like a good amount of bass while not having it overpower the mids and lows. I'm in college so they need to be closed-back and have decent isolation. Thanks for your advice!

Either one should be very good, though the 449 should sound a bit better. Since the difference shouldn'T be too much, just pick it based on the ear pad material you prefer.
