HDMI cable help please

I have just bought a HP Pavilion 15-n222sa laptop. I want to connect my laptop to my television but the HDMI port on the laptop is smaller than the one on my old laptop so my cable is useless. I googled and saw that you can buy mini HDMI cables and adapters - however I have no idea which one I need or even if this is the right thing.

Can anyone help and advise which cable I need for my laptop?

You just need any standard mini-hdmi to hdmi converter. They all work the same.

Just go to newegg.com and look them up, and look at which have decent reviews.

I use one for my GTX 480s going to my tv because they have the mini-hdmi port too.
