Hooked HDMI cable from lap top to TV and only get audio - zero video?

Press the function key that turns on your external display. Please note that if you are playing protected content that only 1 screen will be allowed to be displayed. But things like your desktop will display on both just fine. Also make sure the resolution and refresh rate you are using are supported by your tv. example: if your laptop is running 1080p@75hz then that wont work on a 720P@60hz tv...
