Solved! HDMI cable problems

Hello,
We have an HDMI cable hooked up from new Toshiba laptop to flat screen but nothing shows up on tv. We have selected FN/F5 and chose LCD + HDMI Extended. We have restarted the computer... what next?

Go to your graphics display drivers, and select it to display on the external monitor. What kinda of graphics card does it have?
