HDMI in Audio Out?

Hey all,

I have a question that I was hoping to get answered before purchasing cables.

I am going to hook up my Xbox 360 to my Dell SP2208WFP monitor. I will be using HDMI from my xbox to the monitor but my concern is that my monitor does not have speakers, however, it does have an audio out port. Will I be able to use the HDMI for audio and video in, and then use the audio out to run to my speakers?

That's exactly what the audio out on the SP2208 is for - so you can use the HDMI input and still have the audio.
