HDMI sound to my DVD receiver.

I just bought a SEIKI SE43FK TV to replace my old SHARP AQUOS. I had all the sound coming through my PANASONIC DVD Receiver model SA-PT750 using the AUX source and it worked great. I am now attempting the same setup and can't get sound from my Chromecast to come out from my DVD receiver. I'm confused because it used to work fine with the old TV and the sound comes out fine from just the new TV but not from my receiver. I have RCA cables hooked up to the input in the back going into the receiver(exact same setup as before) to no avail. Any ideas?

Try using the optical audio out instead of the headphone out. The digital audio will sound better too.
