HDMI Splitter lose quality?

I need to split an HDMI output to two sources, will a cord such as this work without losing quality or anything? Thanks.

I wouldn't buy a passive splitter like that one. A passive splitter will cause the HDCP handshake between devices to fail. HDCP is "High Definition Copy-write Protection" and most HD sources (ex. Blu-ray players, HD Cable box, etc.) require it to output an HD signal. Do you know of any other well known brands that are cheaper? $34 is kinda high for my needs. I'm gonna tear it apart and put inside of a different enclosure.

If you search the internet you maybe able to find a cheaper splitter, but I doubt it. I have bought "name brand" splitters (that cost twice as much as monoprice) and had problems with them, but have never had problems with multiple Monoprice splitters.

IMO you can't find a better splitter for a better price.
