Solved! HDTV and 1360x768

I just bought a 26" LCD and hooked it up to my computer. The best resolution is 1360/768 but all my dvd films are cropped to 4:3 at this resolution.

It defeats the whole purpose of a widescreen and I was wondering if there was any way I could play my movies at 16:9 natively. Waht do I need?

I play movie files on a program called BS player. I don't know about DVD's but when playing video file you can change the aspect ratio to 16:9 or 16:10. Just go to options, video options and aspect ratio.. something like that pretty good player IMO

Also change resolution to 1280 X 720 or 720P
