Get a clue, 720 does not have to be 30 fps. Several US broadcasters
currently broadcast 720p/60 content, that's 60 whole frames per
second. Sport events, where most of the time you have fast motion look
better in 720p@60fps than 1080i.

That's 1080/23.98Psf. I work in film-to-tape post and the vast majority
of HDTV work we do -- spots & shows -- is in this format. I'd say about
10% is 1080i, 5% 720p, and the balance 1080Psf.

And dealing with umpitty-ump different formats is a real skootch.
We've finally installed a reference router. Who'd thought you'd need
a router for sync?
