Headphone jack is malfunctioning and audio sounds weird

I know it's not my headphones because they work on all the other devices so it must be the headphone jack. When I plug my headphones into the jack, the audio sounds distorted almost as if the audio were inverted and mono. Sometimes when I move my headphone plug it makes the sound normal until it gets moved again. I have a samsung galaxy player 4.2 if that helps to know.

Hello,

It seems that the headphone jack from the Galaxy got broken. Use the warranty if still have it. If not, go to some phone repair shop and ask them to change the jack plug.
