Headset Mic Problems

So recently, i thought that my adoble flash player had an up date so i clicked it and ran it. After that i learned that it was going though skype and i ended the process. Now my headset will be working fine but my mic will randomly mute itself and the only way i can get it to work again is by going into the sound settings and unmuting it and turning the levels back up. After a few minutes it will mute itself again. I have tried different ports, reinstalling the software and ran my malware bytes anti malware. Still not sure how to fix this, if you need anymore details, just ask.

Is it possible you are accidentally muting via a Windows keyboard shortcut such as Ctrl+S or.. Windowskey+X ?

You might want to check into your key bindings. I doubt this has anything to do with an adobe update or malware of any sort.

Both of those shortcuts don't mute my mic.
