Headset Plantronics Gamecome 780 PROBLEM!

Its a usb headset and when i plug it into a Usb 3.0 port it has a lot of static. Is this caused by the usb 3.0 port or the headphones?

did you plug them into the ports at the backside of cpu

yes the cpu usb port works perfectly well with the headset. but i was curious if usb 3.0 had something to do with the static

it might be some cables or other devices interfering
