Headset Sound not working

so basically, i made my new computer and ive installed all my drivers and etc. now ive got a tritton kunai headset that has a 3.5mm jack. so i plug it into the headphones port on my pc and i can hear ppl but they cant hear me. I plug it into the microphone port and i cant hear anyone but they can hear me. So i need to find a way to get both. thanks for any help in advance.

You need a TRRS to 2xTRS splitter
