Your DVD has component video plus L/R audio outputs.
Your new TV has a component video plus L/R audio input.
You need 5 cables with RCA connectors at both ends.
Check the TV menu to make sure that the input is set to component video as it can also be used to composite video. In your case you could use that but would not get nearly as good a picture.
