I'm looking for gaming laptod, but I want a very nice laptop . Do not ask for budget leave your options, model, brand and specs. Please (with i5 or i7 and the GPU from Nvidia, GTX 970 or 980) and if you can pros and cons, please answer and thanks

You have to state your budget really someone on here could make you a build with $300 or $3000. However, it seems from your post you want a higher end laptop.

Some of the websites listed on that forum post has a laptop builder section, where you can choose what components go into your laptop.

Since you want a gaming laptop instead of a desktop I am assuming you want a portable laptop. Some gaming laptops are so big you might as well call them a desktop, so I am assuming you will want a laptop with maybe 15 inch screen size vs a 17 inch.

So, here's one that I would think you would like:

Now, this build does not have the best and latest processor it is maybe 3-4 models down from the newest one I have seen. But, for a gaming laptop you probably are not going need the best processor out.

Pros: Lightweight design, 2 year warranty
Cons: short battery life, doesn't have the graphics card you want

Yeah you're right, well I'm the kind of guy who always travel so i want something to keep with me I asked this before. But to build a mini itx pc, then I think it again and i choose a laptop but maybe 2000 or 1000 for about 4 or 6 years. Sorry about the question

Yea so if you travel I would definitely pick a laptop. They make laptops bags so laptops fit pretty well in those laptop bags and some seem to be quite protective. I do not think you could just get the same benefit from a pc even with a mini itx.

It has a few laptops and their parts side by side so you can compare. The list was made in 2015 so it should be quite updated.

If you want one to last for awhile, and at your price, I would go for an i5 and GTX 970 or 980. Also, another big thing you should look at is how cool it runs, a lot of laptops overheat after a few years of use. Unfortunately I have had to experience this and it really sucks haha. I'm not sure how someone could research how well the cooling is on a laptop, but if I had to buy one again that's definitely something I would want to look at.
