Solved! Help HP15 won't complete startup.

This morning I started the HP15. The PC reported it was installing an Windows 10 update first. After the startup it seemed to function normally. The HP 15 preformed a automatic shutdown. After returning about 3 hrs later, I attempted to restart the HP15. The boot up process began, then after the HP logo appeared for about a 1/2 a minute when the screen went black. The screen was clearly powered on still. The windows start up never began. An attempt to manually restart failed. The PC can't be turned off. Can anybody tell me how to correct this. Help

Try holding down the power button for 10 seconds. That resets some laptops.
