help im writing this pointing a flashlight at screen

basically i got in a verbal fight with people i know and i stood up forgetting that a laptop was on my lap because i was so concentrated on this argument i saw the laptop hit off the floor and scrreen pop black.i just want to know how i can fix this and whats wrong. everythings fine but i cannot see the screen without pointing a bright light source at screen and squinting alot. still barely visible. i really need solutions as i need this laptop for alot of what i do. also spelling wont be on point as i cannot see what im typing.

Sounds like your backlight went out. Get it replaced or replace it yourself.
