my Lenovo X240 wont turn on. the red light on the front cover is on, the green power light is on and the green light on the FN button is on...but the screen is black.
Do you see any hard drive activity ?
if you have activity to suggest the laptop is booting but still have a black screen, it could be as simple as the display is turned off, or more seriously the back light has gone in the screen.
