Question Help me solve this. My laptop keeps shutting down.

Does it boot into Windows before it shuts down, or does it shut down on the POST screen?

Do you mean the thermal compound between the CPU and heatsink/cooler? As in changing it?

that's right, I faced that issue 3 times, and the thermal compound can't handle the overheat for the CPU and can't function more, that's the main problem, the laptop fan too can lead to that issue because of dust but after the laptop is running not in the boot time. I recommend changing the thermal compound every 1 year and cleaning up the laptop fan every 6 months. if you do these steps and the issue is still, then take your laptop to a repair store, maybe it can be a hardware issue.
