help my Hp laptop screen is black/blank/nothing but i tun the switch on it is working.

I've tried all the tricks advices everywhere abt the unplug power,reattach battery, hold power button for 30/60 seconds then attach back the battery and normally turn the laptop on. STILL it didn't work. pleassseee HELP ASAP my moms gonna kill me

Try connecting to an external monitor, see if any display then. You can look at the display with a flashlight to see if there is a faint image, if so it's likely the backlight power inverter that needs repair.
