The Core i5-5200u (2.2GHz) has a higher base clockspeed compared to the Core i5-4210u (1.7GHz), but both have the same max Turbo Boost speed of 2.7GHz. When doing CPU intensive task both should provide similar performance.

The Lenovo has a 1080p vs. the 1366x768 screen in the Toshiba. For me that is an auto disqualification for the Toshiba. Having such a low resolution on a laptop is a real pain since there is only so much info that can be displayed on the screen.

It also makes for better multitasking since I can see multiple windows / programs on the desktop.
