Help! Poor sound with new Sony HT-CT370 soundbar, WHY?

please help!! just bought new 65" Sony TV & sound bar ht-ct370 we've connected it all up but the sound using soundbar isn't that good, certainly not as good as everyone seems to think on here! when I connect via Bluetooth from my phone the music sounds great almost too loud but then switch back to tv and it's really poor? subwoofer sometimes crackles and barely makes any difference? any ideas, many thanks!!

You may have a bad electrostatic capacitor. Even capacitors only have a shelf life of about 3-6 years. They are a simple fix but I suggest sending it back or request a repair.
