I know little to nothing about computers but I read somewhere that this kind of thing is a sign of graphics card failure. The problem comes and goes but it shows up even when I connect my laptop to a projector.

Is this the end for my laptop? I obviously can't replace it on my own but any quick and temporary fixes are appreciated

Also can someone please explain what happened & how it could have gotten like that?
Background info: never had the blue screen of death. Aspire S3 with i3 core. Graphics card is the intel one?

Thanks will try it. If the GPU is faulty, that means it's the end unless I replace it right?
