HELP!!!!!!!! Windows won't connect or recognize wifi connection

I have an HP laptop running Windows 10 which suddenly won't connect to the internet. My other devices connect fine without issue, so I know it is the computer itself.

I've looked up solutions but all I can find are ones including internet for downloading new drivers. But I can't get on all!!!!!!! I need this pronto!!! Help!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure the adapter is turned on?
Most laptops have a key or key-combo to turn it on & off.
My Sager uses Fn+F12 for that but my Toshiba has a physical switch.
