Hi,

I would like to use my old home theatre system as audio source with the ps4 console.

My ps4 doesn't have an optical port so I was thinking of connecting the home theatre with a rca cable (red and white) and something like this:

https/www.amazon.co.uk/PROZOR-Extractor-Control-Optical-Toslink/dp/B07YFZ4W9N/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1ZV9CNWCH2FEK&keywords=audio+extractor&qid=1638205341&sprefix=audio+extractor%2Caps%2C269&sr=8-9

or this:

https/www.amazon.co.uk/Converter-Digital-Optical-Coaxial-Toslink/dp/B0922T5XF7/ref=sr_1_17?crid=1O4K0BB3K9T32&keywords=digital+analog+converter&qid=1638205462&sprefix=digital+analog+convert%2Caps%2C266&sr=8-17

So which one should be best?

Also, perhaps I can simply connect my tv and the home theatre system using the analog digital converter? And what solutions would produce better quality?

I hope you can assist me.

Thanks
