Help With Headset Microphone!

I currently have a turtlebeach headset, and a couple of days ago this was working fine untill my microphone stopped working, i thought it was the headset being faulty, so i went into the store and got a new one. But the problem was still happening.. I went into my sound options and realised that the microphone was muting itself, i unmuted it and it worked but only for a short amount of time about 10-20 seconds and then muted again, i also checked my volume mixer and found about 7 Windows Explorer tabs in there and a couple of them was muted.. This is really annoying can someone please help me?

Is there some buttons on your microphone? perhaps you pressed the Volume key but you don't know. you can find some more info on my blog http://dllmissing.topdll.net/
